Senior Missionaries:
Needed, Blessed & Loved
Elder and Sister Groesbeck are from Mapleton, Utah, and are serving as the Office Couple. They have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. They came to Zambia in August, 2015 and will be returning home in February, 2017. Elder Groesbeck retired from Intermountain Health Care prior to serving their first mission in Mongolia, where they served as MLS missionaries. Working in the mission office is a great opportunity, as they get to know all the missionaries and help with financial, immigration, and housing issues in the mission. They are also assigned to a ward and find great missionary opportunities working with members and also teaching and visiting with the young missionaries in the evenings after the office closes.

When these missionaries came to Zambia, there were a total of 7 missionary couples serving here. Prior to that time, there had been up to 12 missionary couples serving in Zambia. The drop in senior couples has resulted in additional administrative duties for young missionaries which takes them away from proselyting. SOOOOOO... we cordially invite any senior couple who is interested in serving in an amazing country with wonderful and warm people, a wonderful climate and a growing church membership, PLEASE send in your papers and REQUEST to come to the Zambia, Lusaka Mission! It's a great mission and you will never be the same after serving the Lord in this part of His vineyard. You will have amazing experiences and meet and love many members, nonmembers and missionaries. If you have any questions about the mission or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. or call us at +260211295775 Since all the above couples will be gone by April, 2017, applying and requesting to come here as soon as possible would be a great blessing to this mission.
