Okay! Here we go again. The Great Zambia Lusaka Mission Leadership Council. On the 1st to the 3rd of November we held our 2nd live mission leadership with President and Sister Kupu. After the MLC we all gathered together to have a picture with Sister Kupu and President Kupu. We have such great leaders! These are the Sister Training Leaders and they are truly a great blessing to this mission just like any other sister we have or have ever had. In this meeting we welcomed Sister Newey ( 2nd left) and sister Owusu-Afriyie ( 4th Right) who are newly called to this wonderful set of sister training leaders. The Priesthood of Zion! Just by the look at this picture you can easily tell that we not only have handsome zone leaders but great and mighty men in the priesthood. Each of these Elders adds a great contribution to the success of us as a mission. Among other great things that took place in this great meeting, we were blessed to have Elder and Sister French from the area office in our midst. We were taught the importance of being optimistic in the work so as to overcome negative thoughts that lead to depression and other feelings that are discouraging. We love you Elder and Sister French! Its good to be in the Great Zambia Lusaka Mission! We had a series of trainings and discussions from all corners of the work. We were greatly edified and inspired by the discussions we had and therefore it sufficeth one to be of notion that the spirit was present during the whole discussion. Among many wonderful and great discussions we had, we included working with the stake and ward leaders in maximizing proselyting time as our main subject. At the end of this 3 day Mission Leadership Council and before all leaders from Malawi handed back to the worm heart of Africa (Malawi), we joined with Elder and Sister Groesbeck at their home for our very last lunch as a group. The Groesbeck are such an amazing couple and its always a blessing for us as a mission to work with them. They will dearly be missed when they leave in February.
