So far we are finished with the Zone Conferences in Zambia. We had a great time with the Lusaka East and West Zones and up in the Copperbelt with the newly split Copperbelt and Kitwe Zones. We have been learning a lot of things but one of the main themes running throughout the conferences so far is that the Lord is hastening His work and we need to keep up!

Between 4th and 6th of August we received 13 missionaries (4 from the MTC and 9 from other missions) and lost one (Sister Mbonyana who is now headed to the Uganda Kampala mission after getting her visa). The new missionaries are:
With these new missionaries transfers have come again. The updated transfer sheet can be seen here. We now have 103 missionaries which has required us to split Copperbelt Zone, creating the new Kitwe Zone. Well, even before we could publish this transfer transfers have come again. This time we are losing 7 missionaries. We say farewell to Elder Majafe, Elder Shoba, Sister Wallin, Sister Getts, Sister Twangeirwe, Sister Clifford and Sister Nakitende. They have been a great benefit to the mission and we have enjoyed working with them. We wish them well in as their lives continue back home. So with more missionaries heading home, transfers have come again. The transfers have affected over 30 missionaries throughout the mission and the new transfer sheet can be seen here. |
